Honestly I was only joking about the Metroid stuff, but an HD remaster or true sequel to Super Mario RPG would be great.

Two proper games of each series and also a new F-Zero. There hasn't been one since the Cube days.
Paper Mario: Bowser's Diorama.
Style: as photorealistic as possible. Everything looks like high quality card stock or something.
Still with the charm and individuality of Color Splash's generic NPCs
Next to no paper jokes. Treat it as if everyone's aware they are in a paper world, but don't draw attention to it when possible
TTYD's battle engine.
Plot: this is actually Bowser's story, as if he was running a puppet show for Bowser Jr. In here Mario is the bad guy, and Bowser has plenty of screentime to express his personality.

Where Nintendo nails is in making their games fun, unrealistic and colourful whereas featuring photorealistic visuals goes against that and it'd just be.. dull and generic. Racing games nowadays look so real that it's still possible to tell it's a video game but developers keep on trying to make it as real as they can. GTA is trying to do it too.

A 2D Metroid game with visuals updated like (Classic) Sonic Generations had would be great. The whole 8bit/16bit just feel bland now due to being so overused in modern gaming.Metroid Prime again? Please no

Either Metroidvania or Metroid Prime is fine for me. Paper Mario 64 like game would be ideal.
with nintendo and square enix being pals again, it'd be lovely to see another collaboration of RPG goodness. A proper chrono trigger/cross sequel, a super mario rpg style game (I miss thee mallow and geno), or something like that.
I just want creepy metroid back. I want to feel that tense, creepiness going into rooms. I want to feel alone and overwhelmed(despite my obvious power as a character). I want exploration and discovery. and I want to feel that feeling of "what the f*ck is this place"(but not in an Other M "what were the developers thinking" kind of way). I want that to emanate from every facet of the game, from the character design and music, to the environmentals and plot. Ya know, all the stuff that made super metroid so globbing awesome. Whatever shape or form that comes in will be brilliant. Prime did great with this, but not quite as good as super metroid.

Financially, Other M and Federation force happened.I want know wtf happend after Fusion
Chronologically, I believe we will have some kind of plan to revive/ recreate the metroids as a species to counter the X-parasites. I doubt a crush will kill all of them, and Other M does prove Metroids being able to resist cold after modification(It's most likely an intentional flaw by the Chozos).
Also I means levels, not leveling system to be removed.
