Gaming Has anyone gotten banned from playing Pokemon Moon online?

Yeah sorry, I realize I'm not very good at explaining this. Lemme rephrase.

-Both my sister and I want to play Moon. I personally have a 32 GB card with an EmuNAND set up on it, and already got the game via Freeshop. The console is a 2DS.

-My sister wants to get her own SD, set up an EmuNAND on it, and use it on said 2DS as well.

The question is : will both NANDs have the same header as a result, making it impossible to both play Moon ?

No, I explained this in the first post. CIA files work the same as freeshop or even eShop games. The game itself does not have a header like a cartridge. The header for the game is created by using unique data on the console. So for freeshop, eShop, and .cia files, you can install those games on as many consoles as you'd like and it will always be safe. Its only the .3ds files used with flashcarts that you have to worry about the header.

If you still don't understand, just know that unless you are using a flashcart like gateway or sky, you don't need to worry about headers at all.

No, you can't share a NAND between systems. If you make a NAND backup on your system, then restore that backup on another console, it will brick.

My bad, I meant emuNAND, not the native one, SysNAND. I was worried about running the same game on different emuNANDs, but not at the same time. If I back up an emuNAND and put it on another SD, it should work since it's still the same 2DS right ?

Yes, I explained this already as well. Using the same header ONLY becomes a problem if they go online at the same time. So it doesn't matter if emuNAND has the same header or not, because you can only run 1 NAND at a time. I'll say this one more time. IF YOU USE FREESHOP, ESHOP, OR CIA FILES, DON'T WORRY ABOUT HEADERS. YOU ARE FINE.

Its no problem, I don't mind helping at all. It was just getting to the point where I was repeating myself. You ONLY need to worry about headers if you use a flashcart for 3ds games. That's it.

Ugh, hello guys. I know that it's not my place to ask for help...
But looks like my o3ds xl banned... I install it to try on 18 November pokemon moon and my sis played it, and today i got console back from here...
I cant go online 002-0102, is there solution exist? I have only 1 console with emunand installed...
Pls help me, if you can [I know now that it was and my wine in it, because for EUR release date was 22.... And i check USA...]
PS: Looks like it not 15 days ban?

Well if you played it on the 18th and your region is EUR, then it most likely is what resulted in your ban. 002-0102 is usually 15 days ban, but it seems people believe this ban is perm.

do you have the 022-something error entering the eshop? the online play ban is relatively easy to work around. the ehop one is harder.

for the online play, you just have to inject a not banned localfriendcodeseed_b with decrypt9. there used to be a public one floating around, but now theyre a little harder to find. and due to the questionable legality on sharing on the files, they arent allowed to be posted here.

I have 022, but got it lifted with full format my emunand (have little games like 2-3) and now i can go in eshop (not register new nnid, maybe not lifted =\ )
And sis say that she go online in 1st day, but console still cant play online (I mean 15 days already reached long ago? Or maybe not =\ Does people gets unbanned?)

Not sure it this is true but it seems like no one has been unbanned by Nintendo yet for going online earlier. Your best bet of getting unbanned is by getting a localfriendcodeseed_b as tvall stated.

open decrypt9 -> emunand options -> emunand file inject -> inject localfriendcodeseed_b

if you know what that chaos site is, you might be able to find it there
