Hi, my friend has an Old 3ds with firmware 8.8. is there any way i could get homebrew on his 3ds? and eventually cfw? and upgrade to 9.2

There's no such thing as firmware 8.8. Do you mean 8.1?
Read the Plailect guide (https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki) and stop after part 3 if you want and still pirate games etc, but continuing with the whole guide is a million times better.

Because of browser Hax being patched it forced me to downgrade before and get cfw so I could play online . A9lh is a perm abt solution and you lose the option to downgrade to that if you update idk why people updated when browser and menu Hax where patched you could have downgradded

If it's possible, we need to save it as long as possible, not waste it and have Nintendo patch it in 11.1. Only if Nintendo patches it, a second vulnerability is found, the 3DS reaches end of life, or enough time has passed that it's actually become hard to find exploitable machines should it be released.

The same applies to any browser exploits found now. We're pretty much out of arm11 entrypoints as well as further exploits.

I just got to the point with the homebrew thing, do I have to reset my 3ds first? i mean i got the fw 9.2 now but i mean theres still fbi and the other thing on my 3ds so is it safe to reset it now?
