Yeah there's a lot of bugs, I'm certain they're just actual game bugs (hopefully to be patched soon), and nothing to do with the cryptofix. The files were just repacked, no code would have been changed.
Anyone heard if the patch has been submitted yet?

So riding on this since it's sorta related, how do we get a cia to stop having to do the whole "gift unwrap" thing? I've found some guides but they're related to non-N3DS models, so i'm not sure if it's any different.
If you don't want to unlink nands by formatting one of them, the other option is to install the same cia(s) to both nands. If you use devmenu, it won't take any time at all, and will give an "already exists" error, but will install the ticket so no more unwrapping.

First of all, a big thank you to @Ronhero and @aliak11 for going to the effort of cryptofixing this.

For those that have played aliak's cryptofixed version, is anyone finding that on normal mode you're getting enemy combinations/rooms that shouldn't be on normal? For example getting 2-3 champion enemies in one room. As someone who has 100% the game on PC and is closing in on 100% on psn, to me it seems that this game is a lot tougher from the get go than it should be and as a result, i'm wondering if its a case that during the cryptofix of the game did something happen to alter one of the values to make the game a lot tougher than say if you got it legit via eshop.

Thanks to anyone in advance.

To Clarify: I'm using ReiNAND for n3DS, emunand was setup using GW and updated to 9.5. I've also tried installing it to SysNAND with PastaCFW and get the same results.
Probably just bad programming like the last 3 isaac games.

Nicalis has said there's a patch waiting for Nintendo to accept.

Btw, what's that skull icon in the bottom left of your image?

The best 3DS launch title.
It's a turn-based strategy RPG.

I've also encountered a lot of times that the music suddenly stops playing (untill it changes from track)

Ed stated in his twitter that the longer you play (in one session) the greater the chance of invisible enemies/glitches and such. It kinda goes along with users stating there's a memory leak that the patch will address. He recommended after awhile, to exit the game (progress saved anyway) and restart from the home screen. Fixes it temporarily.

So someone said the game could possibly run on O3DS with an hex edit...
Is that even possible ? Like has it happened before ?
that would be interesting, it would also prove if the game can run fine of the o3ds and if nintendo is just paying them to keep it n3ds exclsuive to sell systems

The game uses all of the n3ds controls, it'll take more than a quick hex job.

boi is basically a twin stick shooter. but even on normal consoles you could use the buttons of the analog stick. so hardware is definitely not the issue :P

So, this is awesome work first of all! Great to know that this game is playable on my region-swapped New 3DS on 9.5 emuNAND. However, my question is, due to my current setup and inability to access the eShop on the N3DS, there is no way to legitimately purchase this game for me? I have my NNID still tied to my O3DS for purchases, so I can't purchase the game there as it is N3DS only and the eShop on O3DS won't allow N3DS-only purchases.

The only other option I could think of for legitimately purchasing this game is through the Ninty website, but it's not available to get a code there yet:
http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/uXPLBJ4b-fzogTu_wbjMzzJ48RGa3Ihj
(any may never be as some games have been on there for a LONG time and codes are still not purchasable through Ninty's store website).

Furthermore, would you even be allowed to enter a code for a N3DS-only game purchased through the Ninty store site on the eShop on an O3DS? Or would the site not let you buy the game if you logged in with an NNID that is tied to an O3DS? Has anyone tried this?

EDIT: Seems like you can buy N3DS-only game codes even when signed into an NNID with O3DS (it let me get up to the purchasing step for Xenoblade):
http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/iJ7MPFzFiw-Bu8Ne-qxGrNQmPlekPGiD
but still, would it let you put that code into the eShop on an O3DS or would it error out?

You guys figured out 9.6+ support on N3DS, you sons of hackers! 200 posts and it's finally been resolved. Now I just died on Mom, dammit!

Just system transfer your O3DS to your N3DS. It's available now with Free Multi Patcher and/or NTR CFW. They spoof your firmware to the latest which allows a system transfer to take place. I did one on my O3DS from sysNAND to sysNAND of my N3DS while they are still on 9.2 and 9.0 FW respectively.

I played it for about 2 hours last night. I did not use any of the n3ds controls. The C-Stick is functionally the same as the ABXY buttons. The ZL/ZR seem to do nothing.

As far as I know, you still can't easily system transfer to a region-changed system because the ConsoleID has not been spoofed and will still tie back to the original region. So when you try to access eShop/System Transfer, the operation fails due to the old ConsoleID (that is "hard-coded" in the physical processor of the system).

I know YifanLu has had success with a rather complex operation to do this, but it is so far not easy and not something I have attempted, so my issue still stands (YifanLu said he not only needed to patch the serial checks, but many other region checks in Cardboard for the System Transfer between regions to complete - See: http://yifan.lu/2015/04/22/opening-up-cardboard-crafting-an-american-new-3ds-non-xl/).

(I also am aware of Free Multi Patcher and their possible plans for spoofing this ID in the future, but their currently released beta doesn't have this functionality yet).
(Question, I assume when you spoofed and system transferred your O3DS to N3DS, the N3DS had not had its region changed?)

You can manually transfer everything except nnid on region changed n3ds units but nothing through system transfer yet

Sorry I read your whole post but forgot you mentioned a region transferred unit. My bad! Yes, both of my systems are from the same region to answer your followup question.
