I've always been pissed that I updated my PS3 years and years ago. I still have my PS3 Break dongle from when the first exploit was made. It worked great but eventually I updated just to play online once. I never have used my PS3 since and it's time I get it on custom firmware. I found the only way to do this with my console, is using the E3 flasher. As much as I don't want to go through all that trouble, I wouldn't mind if it was cheap. But $70 seems to be the best price I can find. Does anyone know of the best and cheapest place to get it from? Is the E3 flasher the best and easiest device or are there other ways? Is this what anyone would recommend to downgrade a PS3 on the latest firmware?
