Well it is surely more lively here and maybe even more productive, since there are updates here all the time while Gateway is either down, not available or just plain no news.
i wonder what's holding them back. since they shown us a working video they should be able to just release what they have already done, i mean is not like they need to wait for hardware manufacturing or global distribution.

like it has been said a gazillion times, just because a video is shown, it doesn't mean it's ready to be released. or do you rather that they release it with bugs and then you get a bricked 3DS?
Getting it up and working in a test environment is quite different from getting it working for worldwide distribution.
We can use an analogy to understand this better. Say I wanted to show my mates how great I was at backflips. I need to show them a video and also show them a live demo.
- I'm recording myself doing backflips. I can fail at 500 backflips, falling straight on my face each time and luckily manage one on my 501st try. I only show my friends the 501st attempt, and now they think I'm amazing.
- I'm going to do a live demo for them. I fall flat on my face the first time. But I don't have 500 times to get it right. So I've failed.
They can fail 1000 times, get it right on the 1001st, then show us the final one on video; we won't be there to see all the fails. It's better to give them the time to test and get it ready, so that on the first try, we can sink our teeth into some Gateway gold (as opposed to a Gateway brick)

Then you're probably looking at a 1-2 week wait. I doubt Gateway would release EmuNAND compatibility when users are waiting for the 9.0-9.2 SysNAND update.
