what i want isn't an analog on my left index finger, what i want is just being able to using R button of Circle Pad Pro even on non-supporting games as CPP makes handling my 3ds xl much easier but it can only be used on a few games.
Looks far more attractive (and comfortable) to me than the original/official Nintendo version.
Yeah, but I think they're both bad. I like what the Vita did. With its two (real) sticks.
Even still the Vita then lacks L2 and R2 buttons, so you still have to get around this with the rear touch screen acting as these buttons. Which really is the same thing as the 3DS without a CPP and its touch screen that can handle the camera and extra buttons if necessary. At least the CPP (and this) adds the 2 extra buttons to make the 3DS a fully realized controller. The Vita should have put in 2 more triggers in some way or another. I find faults with both handheld designs in terms of number of buttons.

I understand they are called slide pads, but they are simply a modification of the traditional thumb-stick. A normal thumb-stick wouldn't work on a clamshell like device so they have to make it work differently so that the "thumb-stick" doesn't take up too much vertical space. No matter what you call it, most people still use their thumbs to move the "slide pad". So what this thing is called is irrelevant.
The Japanese seem to think differently about how the human hands work.
Didn't MH players use the "claw" for the PSP version to play the game? Talk about thinking differently about the human hand.

Can't blame Hori for making something only dedicated users will jump on. Seems like a perfect fit for MH4. Really don't understand why people are mocking this, it's clearly a specialized product for a specific segment of the market, one that is huge in Japan.
