Running a English translated .3ds file on Luma CFW ?

I'm trying to play the Monster Hunter XX rom with english v5 version patch but can't seem to find a working link. I've tried DLing it from the hshop and it doesn't apply the patch at all. The copies I've found online are in the .3ds format and I can't convert it with godmode or install the converted via file either.

Any solution to this ?

If you download the Japanese game copy on hShop, you simply need to update the fully downloaded game with the patch you want (also available on hShop).

.3DS files are not readable by your console, CFW or not. This would work through the use of flashcards if I remember well.

You need to convert it into a cia file and then install that

For some reason the patch wasn't matching up with the .3ds file

Went this route and after finding 2 outdated versions and was finally able to get it to run
