    You can't transfer from New to Old, it's common knowledge. And that's also because you might have games that only work on New model consoles on Old model consoles and Nintendo doesn't want that to happen like at all lol

    Doing that now! I'm going to see if I have any luck. Update: It worked! My 2DS XL booted into its home menu! Thanks :D

    Deleted the home menu from my 2DS, I don't think it'll boot anymore, I have a backup of my Home Menu, and a SystemNand backup of one of my old 2DS XLs. Probably won't work. Can you install to the System NAND in GodMode9? Help is greatly appreciated! Note that yes, I can boot into GM9.

    I get the same problem on my vWii, it boots from the disc rather than the WBFS.

    Hacking 2ds crashes when i try to use b9s (Browser)

    Yeah, so it crashes with a pink screen, gives me the "An error has occurred." screen... I even used the Legacy Luma build, and it STILL didn't work! Do i use the 7.1 version from the Luma3DS github? Let me know if its B9S or Luma3DS causing the crash. Thank you lads :D

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
