Yeah, Toadstool Tour was peak. Good amount of content on its own, then even more added in once you link to Advance Tour. It's a shame that they will likely never emulate the transfer pak on NSO, or GBA-GC link cable if GC ever makes it in.
I can respect that. I just liked the single player stories of the GBA games really. It's nice to see the Switch versions at least moving back to having more decent single player content, even if it is a little hit or miss.
Id argue Mario Golf Toadstool Tour is peak but otherwise definitely a shame. Very excited for TTYD on switch though, been holding off on buying the gamecube version.
Hard pass due to the lack of physical media. I don't care about a bunch of codes that have virtually no value. I wish this wasn't a PC release, to be honest. The PC games market has been ruined with codes in DVD cases many years ago.
I still use one if I want to play older games that come on optical media.
Reminds me of when they sold this Pip-Boy accessory back then which didn't do much.
Whilst I was forced to move them over to a homemade USB enclosure (I call it T.O.D.D, partially because it stands for Tower Of Disc Drives and partially because it Juuuuuuusssssttttt works), yes I still have an ODD for the odd time I rip/burn...
Now listen here, you little sh--
Of course I have an optical drive internally where possible.
No pc I use as a primary of anything, goes without a sound card, either. Only exception there, is the living room pc due entirely to space constraints...
While not in my PC, I have an external blue ray drive for ripping media off of discs that I also use to install peggle or roller coaster tycoon occasionally. Lol
