    Same here, the FAT partition is used so other programs can access files on the hard drive, instead of just the games.

    It's costly because it's a WD. I've seen that they are pretty costly when it comes to smaller hard drives, but they perform quite well. I think most of the WD drives work problem free with the Wii.

    Just confirming, I've played a few games using the same Hard Drive and I've experience no problems aside from one freeze up. The freeze occured when I paused the game as it was loading a something at the same time. Other than that, It's ran completely smooth with no lock ups.

    Aw no I just bought this drive today cause the list said that it worked okay with USB loader. I haven't tried it out, but the list says and it's been confirmed that it works okay.

    http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=184057 Try that to update to 4.2u. It's all automatic, and only updates the things that needs to be updated. It doesn't change anything, or add anything new, and it should keep your HBC so you don't have to re-install it.

    I'm on 3.3u with the Hackmii v0.5 installed. I figured I'm back in the day and I wanted to update, should I update to 4.0 or 4.1? I don't think I will even touch 4.2 right now. Or do you guys recommend I stay at my current version of 3.3u?
