Homebrew TWPatcher - DS(i) mode screen filters and patches

Maybe I could hotpatch twlbg in luma for the filters, already did that kind of stuff once or twice. Btw I did some of your research at some point, patched some bytes (possibly the same as those described here), but did not see any apparent change. Thank you so much for properly finishing this...

Homebrew WIP FTPD Released for Switch 3.0

Thanks, but: I clearly said in the tweet that it's far from being complete and working and I didn't release. Please remove the [completed] tag ASAP. Not only that but the github link is slightly wrong, it should have pointed to the switch_pr branch...

    Hacking Here comes 3DS 11.6

@Lilith Valentine This is not the RN thread, please stop derailling this topic for "self"-advertisment. Otherwise nothing at all was changed between 11.5 and 11.6, if not the Flipnote block/blacklist

Homebrew What happened to most of the developers?

AW didn't leave the 3ds scene, just gbatemp

    Hacking Luma3DS - Noob-proof 3DS Custom Firmware

0x00100000 is the virtual address where programs (their .text+.rodata+.data+.bss) usually start (except for loader, ro, and rosalina which start at VA 0x14000000. In this case this is where the mapped process memory is mapped and it could be any arbitrary page-aligned address indeed. Also...

    Hacking Errdisp at N3DS startup

This is symptomatic of broken head-tracking ("super stable 3D") hardware. To "ignore" this issue uncomment: https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/blob/master/k11_extension/source/ipc.c#L301 (a build with that change is below). Normally your N3DS will boot to Home Menu but sleep mode will not...

    Hacking Luma3DS - Noob-proof 3DS Custom Firmware

Not really, you just need to download the latest devkitARM toolkit & rebuild the homebrew from source, by typing "make" in the project's folder. For rather recent homebrew anyways.

Feel free to do so. I don't think any popular license guarentees the same liberties, however. Because that's a useless maintenance chore. Sorry if I sound rash, but you can't go complain & make snarky comments and expect me to turn a blind eye when it gets too noticeable.

I have no issue with that particular comment, it just seems that @pbanj has gone to sleep anyways

    Hacking Luma3DS - Noob-proof 3DS Custom Firmware

If issues are real and correctly reported in the issue tracker then they are fixed :P (and in case of user error you're told how to fix it), so I'd encourage reporting issues, at least ones that aren't obvious user error. What I do hate is people spreading bullshit and/or complaining about...

    Hacking Luma3DS - Noob-proof 3DS Custom Firmware

So you're implying Richard M. Stallman's own interpretation of the GNU GPL is wrong? Everyone that has been involved in 3DS development is instead thick-skinnded. Seriously fuckers like you and some others legacy/""minimalist"" trolls who can't do anything but complain, complain...

Because lots of people download on astro site, and the part who doesn't build from upstream. Now if you stopped spamming your useless rant and making astro (and other people) lose time to reply in the process it would be nice. Thank you.

Indeed, astro just give a link to the repo, which is OK

    Hacking Luma3DS - Noob-proof 3DS Custom Firmware

Since astro distributes builds on a website server (and thus not a physical medium), he's obligated to provide access to the source of the builds he's currently hosting. Please read the GNU GPL, version 3, more specifically section 6d, again. The burden of distributing the source is on the...
