I truly do not understand the appeal of these NES to SNES projects, just seems like a waste of time and resources. How many people have access to only a SNES emulator or hardware, but no access to a NES emulator or hardware?
Castlevania 3 is one of the most advanced games on the system; I wouldn't expect that to be up next.
So what exactly did they do with this one? Music synthesized with higher quality instrument samples? Carefully-selected clips from the cartoon...
i gotta say, the steam deck isn't a bad deal, even if you get a used one, you have options to get it serviced and the parts are also available through ifixit
