    I don't think it is necessary for the handheld you're transferring from. Someone should confirm on this.

    It is not. For your NNID, just call Nintendo support and have them help you move it to your new 3DS. It will work the same EmuNand or not, just make sure you have access to the eShop.

    Can anybody answer this? The game saves similar to Pokemon ORAS, but it's on the EmuNAND, and I'd rather not make a futile effort/possibly break something like the save in the process.

    I got it from Amazon merchant JapanLovers'Choice. I paid $224 total with expedited shipping (I think it was $210 + $14 Japan Post, took 6 days). The package was in shrink wrap and I couldn't see any signs of tampering. I've triple checked for typos too!
