yup, updates are not legit CIAs. Also make sure the regions of your game and the update match, you can't use the USA update on the EUR version of the game and vice versa.

inject fbi into the health app on sysnand then install the .cia to sysnand. Turn off your console and reboot it. When booting into rxtools, go to advanced and then pasta cfw with gba patches applied. It will reboot into sysnand and from there you can run the gba cia's. Also make sure you have...
the solution is to boot into sysnand through rx tools --> advanced --> boot into pasta cfw, then run fbi through the health & safety app. You need to have the agb_firm installed on both nands aswelll as the vc games
