    title says it all, I installed earthbound and super mario world cia's (cryptofixed versions) I got from "that iso site" but when I try to start them I'm stuck on the 3ds-screen with the red rings. N3dsxl Pasta CFW with rxtools 9.2

    yup, updates are not legit CIAs. Also make sure the regions of your game and the update match, you can't use the USA update on the EUR version of the game and vice versa.

    thanks for your help, Im still new to the 3ds homebrew scene, I got my N3ds this christmas. So I have to install ReiNAND cfw and get rid of pasta ? I'm assuming it's not possible to update pasta to the latest firmware on emunand yet ? Also, thanks for the advice on the main menu prompts :grog:

    So just to confirm this: can I safely update my emunand without loosing anything ? Or is more safe to wait for smea to release a spoof or something ? I'm on a N3DS 9.2 with rxtools & pasta cfw.

    inject fbi into the health app on sysnand then install the .cia to sysnand. Turn off your console and reboot it.     the solution is to boot into sysnand through rx tools --> advanced --> boot into pasta cfw, then run fbi through the health & safety app. You need to have the agb_firm installed on both nands aswelll as the vc games
