Thanks very much for your help and knowledge, I will be playing with this here soon when i have my switch in front of me.
historically I've just ran SXOS and updated through there menu, used Choidejournx to update firmware when needed and used sxos built in nsp installer for game installs.
Now...
Thanks for this, Do you remember the method to getting into settings menu? I had forgotten about that menu! Maybe i don't even need to re-flash the uf2 file on the chip then. If I remember it was like power and the volume + button or something when it first boots. I think I was...
Hi all. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. I have a switch thats been on SX-OS since release and i've installed the Trinket M0 matty has supplied with software and instructions for. It's been too long i can't remember details of how it all worked, but now I'm in...
Matty I made the switch to this from switchboot, it's a very nice upgrade. I dont use dual boot I have a basic setup but this JUST WORKS! Everything from automatically taking care of dead battery and booting once good to go to even backing up my sxos license, truly set and forget now. Thanks...
I personally like it, I recently updated to latest release here and downloaded the new bootloader folder to enable nyx but found the UI doesn't have the switchboot options so am going to disable it. Having this sideways is a nice improvement shy of having nyx with all the options you've added.
I'm currently using switchboot version from your other thread. It sounds like this is no longer has hekate built in and looks for it on sdcard instead? Also I assume this means no more sxos license recovery?
Thanks for your work for us chip users.
@mattytrog thanks for the update on this I will be trying it out and upgrading soon. I have a probably weird question for you. So I have a Trinket M0 installed in my switch and currently its pretty easy to press the reset button through the back of the case. I bought a thin "dockable" case...
Updated my Trinket from 1.10 to 1.3.2 and so far everything working great including the SXOS License.dat restore feature. Thanks for the continued work on this
Exfat is superior so you dont have to split games into 4gb chunks. But you need to be on high enough official firmware to support it.
AFAIK yeah just the .xci on the root.
