To be fair Ignited also does have a bunch of Pro features for those happy to pay, but the base functionality is still all there (and includes iPad support). I think the dev is planning to have a Pro subscription when it reaches the App Store...
Eh, it's hard to justify when Ignited just works out of the box:
I do think Delta's a great emulator, but Ignited has just taken everything that was good and made it better. I'm happy to just keep sideloading it for now and hold out for its...
Finally, we got one https://www.theverge.com/2024/4/17/24132984/delta-free-emulator-nintendo-gba-n64-iphone-app-store-us
From what I understand, Delta has been the premiere iOS emulator suite for a while now. In the EU though, they're using it...
It's great to see it, but I'm still hopeful for Ignited. iPad support is kinda a big point for me, and I know Delta does support it because I've used it on my iPad Mini before... No idea why the App Store version doesn't have it.
If nothing...
I do agree with a lot of this based on what I've seen myself. My dad is probably the best example I can think of. He smoked for 20+ years and one day we noticed he'd just stopped. It turns out he hadn't smoked for a few weeks at that point, and...
Well it's a pretty great mail day for me! After being told last month that there would be a delay and that it'd get to me sometime mid-April, I had heard nothing from ASUS. Until this showed up today with zero shipping confirmation:
It is...
To be honest, it really doesn't seem like an awful way to approach the problem. Raising the legal age every year means that people that are currently addicted aren't suddenly forced to go cold turkey, and makes it far less accessible for younger...
Not sure about App Store ones, but I know it’s an issue with sideloaded ones at least. If you want JIT on a sideloaded app you need to connect it to a PC every time you want it enabled iirc.
Seems like it is their emulator:
https://github.com/tsalvo/nes-emu-ios
Interesting to see that it did cost 99p earlier today but is now free though. Wonder if some part of the code didn't allow them to charge for it? Either way, no ads, no...
Seems like we have our first legitimate emulator!

I think this should cement that Apple is fine with emulation, and that the issue was in the sketchy nature of the copycat code...
I think the above pretty much sums me up too. I use the two notched home row keys to get my bearings, and then just kinda fly free with whatever feels natural lol
btw i feel this a good time to remind you guys that sea of thieves was made by rare, who also made DKC1-3 and DK64, alongside banjo kazooie and conker's bad fur day
