    poloman, back in the day ROM releases generally weren't numbered, at least I don't remember them being numbered, so you probably won't find it catalogued as such very easily. On the other hand, google and SNES games are two great tastes that taste great together, if you know what I'm saying...

    I took a quick look at the usa_news.txt vs newsticker.txt and they're mapped totally differently, the first couple entries in newsticker.txt aren't talking about the same thing as the first couple in usa_news.txt. If I had to hazard a guess, I would bet that usa_news.txt is a vestigial data...

    I've got four Kingston 1gigs, two from japan and two from taiwan. It seemed to be totally random which I got, but they all seem to perform exactly the same, PoR and all. I wouldn't worry about it.

    Yeah, R4. I've not had a single problem with mine, and two other guys I work with have since bought them, and we're all quite happy with our choice. That, and I really do think that the ability to have multiple SD cards is a huge selling point which the DS-X lacks.
