    End of RVerse

This statement is as false as the Switch Pro rumors. The reason is obviously the fact that the Root certificate that is needed to connect expired, as we were using the old Let's Encrypt root (DST Root CA X3) and that expired last month, breaking not only rverse, but many other devices. Also...

ROM Hack [Development] Miitopia english translation and plugin for Kuriimu

Since this game is released already worldwide, I think we should use this thread for hacks and stuff (if OP is still alive and doesn't mind), I mean, a good deal of the game is controlled by csv files, including event flags (I think,) enemy formations in maps, their stats, etc. I wouldn't mind...

    Read the instructions correctly. It's 00000000.app, not 00000001.app. 00000001.app is the e-manual.

Nope. Only the scripts for the first chapter is in there up to before entering the desert. Pretty much everything else is missing. I'm surprised that the game doesn't crash due to the files missing at all. You can verify that by extracting both sarc files and comparing what files are there and...

Homebrew [RELEASE] 3DiScord: A Discord client for the 3DS

Nice! Can't wait for people trying it on the blobs server and having their 3ds explode.

You're welcome. To make the files usable, the correct paths for the japanese version are: cmn/svn_font/svn_font.sarc cmn/svn_message/svn_message.sarc

You can use GodMode9 to extract the files (SYSNAND SD -> title -> 00040002 -> 001b4e01 -> content -> 00000000.app) romfs/us/svn_font are the font files, and romfs/us/svn_message are the texts. You can use Luma's Game Patching to use them. Actually, everything in the journal menu is translated...

You can extract the message file from the demo and tuck it to the japanese version (along with the font or almost every character will have a big ? on it). Pretty much all the UI and names are translated but when it comes to dialog, everything after the castle is empty and full of <NULL> errors.

For what is worth, the font files from the demo work without issue on the JP version and since it includes all english letters, it should be easier (I think) to translate the game (the JP font files don't have all english gliphs except for the small fonts.)

ROM Hack Super Mario Maker 3DS uses Lua

My phone doesn't work but in the manual that you can enter from the home menu it's there at the bottom of the first page (Important Information) along with the RapidJSON license.

ROM Hack Super Mario Maker 3DS uses Lua

The fact that lua is used is not news (It's listed in the manual but who reads them?) but that it isn't compiled are news. Maybe the comments on the lua can give an insight on how the game can be modded to enable at least level search. Nope. I dumped the files myself and they were only UI...
