Gaming (GameBoy Advance) GBA Games Requiring Batteries

I haven't seen a IV with a battery yet, but it is possible. Like I said above, it would seem they created some versions ( presumably first release ) of games that use battery and then when creating another run of them, used SRAM no battery.

It's possible that they've made 2 different versions with battery save and just SRAM memory, thanks for clearing this up for me! I'll edit this ASAP. [hr]Posts merged I was planning on doing GBC as well since I've been fixing those, but I wasn't sure this was the proper place to post this?

I do have some carts left to sell, I actually have 1 left that works. The rest are non-repairable in the state they are in. It may be possible to remove the chips from the board and put them onto another games board.. I've been too busy repairing GBC/GBA games lately to test this.

Gaming (GameBoy Advance) GBA Games Requiring Batteries

I'm working on a repair project and couldn't find any information on this. So, I decided I would start up a thread on which games require batteries to save or run other activities. Without further adieu, GBA games that require batteries for saving and other functions: - Baseball Advance -...

Yeah, a lot of people have noted that. I was also wrong, you only really need to hold the "Start" button. But, it should work. Really coudn't tell you why you're having problems. :/

Hey guys, it's been a while. I've had a lot going on and just don't have the time or resources to do anything with the carts I have left. So, I'm throwing in the towel on this one and calling it closed. For all those interested in getting their hands on any of these goods, you can check on the...
