    Newest USB loader GX is r1281, check and confirm. You choose to place game on either SD or USB HDD(HDD is better than flash drives as the later tend to have compatibility issues), for Wii games placing on SD is OK but some larger games will be slow to read.

    USB loader GX+ blurry filter off might give you the original pic. and... NATIVE resolution on dolphin is a huge waste for PC nowadays, I played Wii sports resort on an ancient HD7850 with 3x resolution. I have a Wii U, and I'd say dolphin can present MUCH better visuals.

    there are replacement sticks sold online, no idea if they are genuine or not but they work. These parts are sold with pcb boards attached, so no soldering is involved for the replacement.
