New static recompiler tool N64Recomp aims to seamlessly modernize N64 games

Man, this is so cool that I have yet to see one negative comment about it anywhere on the Internet

Nintendo officially confirms Switch successor console, announces Nintendo Direct for next month

That's not true tho. Maybe a couple decades ago this was a primarily Nintendo account, but it's been gaming News since I've been a user (which is nearly a decade iirc). Every time Nintendo shows up in an article, 9/10 times it's to report on what crummy, anti consumer things they did this week.

Nintendo officially confirms Switch successor console, announces Nintendo Direct for next month

Nintendo can go suck a fat one. I'll probably grab one at launch and wait for CFW

Delta emulator now available on the App Store for iOS

The dev had mentioned Apple TV support being a long time dream, but has run into complications

Delta emulator now available on the App Store for iOS

Just my hypothesis but I think it has something to do with the mandates for third party marketplaces in the EU. I believe Apple's mindset is 'okay. If 3rd party app stores are required. We'll keep our stringent rules and make all the "undesirables" go to third party stores. Everywhere else...

Delta emulator now available on the App Store for iOS

Yeah this sucks. They've blocked access to the Android/Data folder where a lot of games store their files. I had it setup so that all my emulators saves were synced between my phone, PC, and laptop, but now I can't play my games on my phone anymore

Delta emulator now available on the App Store for iOS

Except that isn't true. "Some oses do more than others" is not factual at all. All computers are 1s and 0s and logic gates that derive meaning from those bits. An operating system is the way we as humans interact with that bare metal hardware. In that regard, all OSes do the same thing. Where...

Delta emulator now available on the App Store for iOS

How are we still fanboying over operating systems in 2024? It actually doesn't matter if someone prefers android, iOS, windows, Linux, or Mac. People have the right to choose what they like, and people getting more options is only a good thing. One isn't objectively "better" than another. It's...

Delta emulator now available on the App Store for iOS

I haven't used Delta but I remember back during the GBA4IOS days, this was the emulator that got me into emulation. To this day, it is one of the most user friendly, noob accessible emulators I have ever used. This is a huge win

Apple is opening up its App Store for video-game emulators

Is this "EU" hate in the room with us now?

    Rumor April's Nintendo Direct leaked?

As far as fake Nintendo direct leaks go, this sure is one of them.

Akira Toriyama, creator of Dragon Ball, and artist for Dragon Quest, has passed away

What a legend. I never interacted with much of his media outside of Chrono Trigger and the first season of dragon ball z but his art was always such a standout

3DS homebrew tool FBI title manager removed from GitHub

I don't think anything shady was going on with Tropic Haze and none of these devs do either. That suit has shaken the equilibrium that the enthusiast scene and Nintendo were living in. Now, there is no telling who, or what, is next.

Yuzu emulator shutting down, paying Nintendo 2.4 million in lawsuit settlement

While I'd agree with you in other circumstances, this is Nintendo. An absolute juggernaut in the gaming sphere. They were able to tank the failure of the Wii U era and bounce back stronger. We'd have to bring them lower than that to even send the smallest of messages and that just isn't going to...
