    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

This works for me most of the time; place the Gamepad out of range while booting RetroArch with a WiiMote - make sure you have the other stuff you want connected already connected.

No, I wouldn't touch THAT. Just discovered that mGBA has Super Game Boy output support for some GB games... that is just lovely!

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

Did that before I started, found nothing special - this is a brand new high end card I unpacked just for this purpose. I have many though, so just to avoid the risk of the card being faulty, I'm throwing it away. Nothing what I wasn't expecting on a check; The type of the file system is...

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

Dear diary, tonight I'm on the verge of a mental breakdown again because of RetroArch on the WiiU. Just when I was nearing the end of the excruciating ordeal setting everything up the way I want it, and while browsing my beautifully constructed massive playlists I suddenly noticed everything...

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

Thanks for the tip on the USB keyboard, this works most of the time - while cumbersome, it does help prevent having to hard reset the WiiU. I noticed though that a USB keyboard can in turn get stuck in the menu when there is a virtual keyboard shown, or when attempting to unify the controls for...

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

Just started setting up RetroArch - have the latest stable now. Am having a lot of trouble with controllers - I really want to use something else than the Gamepad, but as soon as I attempt to switch devices in the settings for Port 1, I can't seem to navigate the menu with neither the newly set...

Hacking Question Splatoon 2 Amiibo Gear

What Amiibo are you using? It is slightly different for the S2 and S1 ones, I think, and also for Cal and Mar. I didn't figure out the pattern, just that they go into these three groups and that everything should be unlocked by level 14 for all the amiibo (possibly earlier though, also assuming...

Gaming Splatoon 2 worth it without online?

I also owned the original Splatoon; it must be said that THAT one-player mode is ten times worse than in Splatoon 2. Biggest differences; - Access to different weapons very early on without the Amibo. These are a shooter, a charger, a roller, dualies, a slosher, a brush, a blaster, a splatling...

Gaming Splatoon 2 worth it without online?

The story mode is very secondary to online. While it has a lot of replay value if you want to finish 100% with everything found and all weapons and such, it isn't worth it if you can't play the main game.

Gaming Nintendo censors/updates the cover of Super Mario Odyssey

I think Brooklyn peoples of Italian descent should have been offended since the 80s or so. No room for comedy in a world dominated by the SJWs.

Gaming Nintendo censors/updates the cover of Super Mario Odyssey

Thanks for posting that. Wow. Didn't know it had sunk to this level. Did Nintendo respond to it? They might not even be aware, and the cover change might still be unrelated.

Congrats, you are undead. Like; - Zombies - Revenants - Vampires - Aptrgangr Either that or you are possessed by an incubus, in the rare case it actually inhabits a dead body to engage in human relationships.

I hate ordering stuff online if I can go buy it somewhere close to me, and everywhere anymore will give you a discount only if you order it online, bs. Should be a discount if I go pick it up, not order online.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I love it for most things most stores you just shows the receipt online and they scan it

Makes it easy for incompetent restaurant staff that don't know how to hear an order
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Mostly for big purchases, I want it in my hands before I pay. Like a tv, I trust picking it up myself, before I'd trust it being sent thru mail/delivery. (Broken screen, etc) But yea if I can order online, then pickup at store is ok, but not all places offer that.

    > Like a tv, I trust picking it up myself, before I'd trust it being sent thru mail/delivery. (Broken screen, etc)

Thing is, if you break it driving back to your house, it's your fault. But if the delivery driver damages it, it's not your fault.

Most people that haul big tvs have empty trucks or know enough not to set it face down
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Then I gotta send it back and wait another week or two. I have a pickup truck, with a extended cab, so no prob for me.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
