In case anyone is still doubting EasyMode9, I just used it and it worked perfectly. I won't pretend to know how it works, but I can confirm that it does
To my knowledge, it comes down to whether or not you own the game. Backups of games you own in themselves are in a bit of a grey area, but since you haven't purchased the game in any form, I believe it would be considered piracy.
Gotta admit, this update caught me by surprise. Bummed to hear how fast Fasthax was patched after all the effort put into it. Nintendo is usually so slow on these things.
Obviously you've had your answer given several times, but honestly if you follow the guide, you have a next to nothing chance of a brick, and the benefits of CFW is ridiculously good
I know I'm a bit late to the party here, but a lot of the reason that it didn't give you the option to back up the save is because MHGen has it's save in the Extra Data instead of a traditional save.
True, but still, bricking sucks. Might as well do everything we can to help prevent it, eh?

Yes. Think of the backup restore AS updating your system. The update is only if your system is on lower than 11.2 after the restore.
My uneducated guess would be that the battery isn't holding a charge very well, so I ASSUME it would be an iffy battery. I've never heard of A9LH doing anything like that. Anybody feel free to correct me.
I feel like school, back when I was actually in school, was more entertaining though, because of how much I get to interact with people, hang out with friends, and other stuff like that. All I get to talk to at work is my boring coworkers lol
