Someone I'm helping got a fatal NAND corruption error on their Wii U and I'm trying to help them homebrew it so they can get RedNAND before their NAND is too far gone. However, they're stuck on 5.3.2U and can't update (a fatal error code happens). So, is there any remaining old exploits they...
@JStar334 Yeah, sure. I had no idea that someone would reply to this, so sorry for not replying for... 3 months (yikes):
1. I followed steps 1-5 on the site that got me into the whole thing (found here)
2. Backed up the OG .pem file in case I irreversibly screwed it up (you should do the same...
Yep, I've already told them to try regenerating settings.xml (I think I spelled it wrong in the og post lol) and they tried that alongside light and aggressive mode it it didn't work
The slccmpt probably isn't empty, as like I said in my OG post, they were able to get to the health and safety...
I don't think that's the problem because Decaffinator was able to run and update their Wii U (after all, vWii Decafinator did have some marginal success at unbricking their vWii). In case I'm wrong or am misinterpreting something again, I'll still tell them to do this though.
Dang, I just...
So I'm trying to help some person with their bricked vWii. Their vWii broke even before they modded their system, so they don't have a NAND backup (and can't use vWii NAND Restorer). After them trying light & aggressive mode of vWii decaffinator, it has only made marginal progress (They can now...
I'm not the one with the problem-- someone else is and I already told them how to fix it. I'm not really asking for help more than I'm asking how plausible something is to do. The question is not from necessity, but rather curiosity
I'm already aware of the fact that you can "illegally" get a copy of the games viz nusspli or dump the game using dumpling/disc2app (so it works with spiik), but I'm curious if there's a way to not bother with that and be able to force an English patch for disc games instead of just installed...
Ok, so there's someone I'm trying to help who has an English Wii U, and they're trying to play a Japanese disc. Thanks to region-free hacks, they can load them on their Wii U, but the main problem is that the Japanese disks play in... Japanese. I know Spiik can force English for out-of-region...
Please this question has a very obvious answer and there's only a valid argument for like 2 of these options. Literally everyone I know came up with the same objectively wrong answer so please restore my faith in humanity
No, just use the Wii in your Wii U. Either homebrew your vWii and use USB Loader (download the vWii option), or run the Wii game through UWUVCI and upload the Wii game to the Wii U the same as you would any other Wii U game you want to inject to the Wii U menu (illegally or not).
If you want...
No, don’t worry— I’m not planning on using a flash drive with my Wii U anytime soon. However, I was helping someone and they pointed out this question that got me wondering why that is. From what I understand, you aren’t supposed to use a flash drive with a Wii U because of it’s limited...
Forwarders or injectors, like UWUVCI, would probably do the trick if you want to play games by clicking on them through the Wii U menu and immediately going to said game. But playing Wii games without going to the vWii requires an emulator that no one has ever made (to my knowledge)… because...
Here's the lowdown:
So some guy (not me, I swear) corrupted their Mii Maker when trying to change its logo (never explained what they changed). However, they said that they can still access homebrew by launching the Mii Maker via their profile pic. I have an idea as to how to fix it, but I'm...
I haven't played my Switch n a month or so, just been playing Xbox, and just picked to play lil and Damn that A and B, X and Y being reversed always gets me.
I agree Tears is great. I even played thru it completely twice. I've been hooked on playing thru Fallout 4 again though, after they released the next gen version for Series S/X. Is pretty cool update.
because I already got burned out with breath of the wild, which for the most part is essentially the same game, and then again with master mode, which doesn't work as a new game plus (that always felt bizarre to me)
