    Well, I did disable the things it tells you to disable before getting cfw in 3ds.guide even though I don't have cfw (did it just to be safe) but still anything can happen

    Have the 11.5 otherapp payloads been updated to more "stable" ones? They said they work for 11.6 too so maybe they might want to update them?

    If i have steelhax on 11.5 o3ds can i update safely to 11.6 (not that i would, because maybe the magically kexploits for old versions will suddenly appear some day)

    You can try right-clicking the .json file and pressing "edit" or something like that. if that's not an option in the menu try going to "open with" and choosing notepad. You can also open it with Notepad++, if you wish.
