Hacking Converting .sav to savedata.dat (3DS cartridge save format to CIA).

Hey all. I have 3DS .sav files that I pulled directly from cartridges using NDS Adapter Plus. I am trying to import those saves into CIA games with no luck. I have tried simply renaming my save files into the savedata.dat files that are produced by JKSM and Checkpoint, but this just corrupts the...

Tutorial Importing Gateway saves to cia games

Hey all. I have .sav files that I pulled directly from cartridges using NDS Adapter Plus. Is there a way to convert these without Gateway? If not, if someone's able to convert these two for me, I'd be super grateful. Thanks!

Homebrew Cannot Import Zelda II NES VC Save

Hey all! I recently installed CFW on my device and setup VC injection. I've successfully imported all of my PC saves for all of my GB, GBC and NES games by renaming the .sav file to sav.dat and importing with Checkpoint. However, Zelda II is the only one that won't properly import, resulting in...

Hacking DSTwo Won't Recognize .dat Update File

Thanks so much for the info, makes complete sense. In regards to the TempGBA issue, any ideas? I haven't run across anyone with the same problem. And I know I'm not just being picky - it renders most games unplayable. I'm using the latest version and have tested all frame skip settings on games...

Hacking DSTwo Won't Recognize .dat Update File

My understanding is that the EOS firmware is indicated by the menu version number in DS_GAME, which is shown on my DSTwo (and yours) as 1.11. Is this not correct? So my EOS is updated? I've updated three times since owning my DSTwo, and it's always shown up as Alex Rider on all versions...

Hacking DSTwo Won't Recognize .dat Update File

Oh! Isn't that the 1.11 listed under Help in DS_GAME? If not, how do I see that?

Hacking DSTwo Won't Recognize .dat Update File

My 3DS is on Nintendo's latest firmware. But I've also tried updating on my old DS Phat and the issue is the same - it loads fine, but doesn't prompt for the update.

Hacking DSTwo Won't Recognize .dat Update File

B method didn't work for me either unfortunately. Most others with this issue are getting an error prompt at startup that I don't get, which is usually where B method comes in.

Hacking DSTwo Won't Recognize .dat Update File

Well no, I'm sorry, TempGBA has a known input lag issue that is corrected with 1.14 - that's why I want the update. I just meant that everything loads, so I know it's not the SD card.

Hacking DSTwo Won't Recognize .dat Update File

It should indeed prompt to actually bind the update from the SD card to the DSTwo. It's strange because the DSTwo works fine and loads everything else. It just doesn't recognize that the update is there.

Thanks! I gave that a shot, reformatted to FAT32, but no luck. :(

Hacking DSTwo Won't Recognize .dat Update File

Hey all! I'm trying to upgrade my DSTwo with the latest firmware patch, 1.25, but the update prompt doesn't pop up when booting up the flash cart. I've placed the .dat update file onto the root of the micro SD card, and have loaded the latest EOS (1.14) _dstwo folder and files. Under the Help...
