Hacking Guide - How to convert YouTube videos to Game Boy Advance ROM files
I converted some old 1960s Spider-Man cartoon episodes yesterday. I tried to convert 25 of them, but only 16 worked properly (9 of them had video-audio sync issues or the sound would cut out completely about a quarter of the way through--the latter issue occurring only on the longer videos)...- hitfan

I'm a big fan of Flubba's emulators. I've always wondered though how he was able to emulate GB/GBC at perfect full speed on a GBA. Consider this: the GBA has a CPU of 16MHz while the GB CPU is 4MHz and the GBC is 8MHz! Admittedly, I know very little about what goes on in the backend inside of...- hitfan

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.+1

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.+1

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
