Fair point - even with bethesda/id/machinegames (unsure who makes this desicion) pushing Vulkan they aren't actively porting their games to linux, and not many developers seem too keen on using it over DirectX. I'm still optimistic that it'll see more commercial use though given that it supports...
Wait DOOM got a linux port? Or are you just refereing to how well it runs in wine because of Vulkan? And all the indie games on linux aren't trash (Axiom Verge, Hyper Light Drifter) but yeah there is a lot. There are some companies like Feral trying to bring windows games over though, and with...
It's my hope that ninty can make a VC emulator that works at fullspeed, at least for less intensive games, given that they presumably have the both the source code for the games and much more intricate knowledge of the system than the dolphin devs (not that they will, though, as ninty hasn't...
This shows the system as Linux - is that just the browser telling the website that? I'm curious, pretty sure it was confirmed that the switch uses a derivative of the 3DS OS.
One can hope, but I lost faith in EA a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... - gonna be on the lookout for switch-related stuff, though. If EA flaunts their support at their event, other 3rd parties might follow suit, which would be nice.
It works for me, running both a cart and digital copy, but I'm running it through the hbl-launcher cia so that could give different results (11.3 luma, relatively recent build).
Some 'bigger' emulators require more ram, and have to piggyback off of apps that are allowed to use said ram (youtube, mh4u + x(?), smash, maybe others). So if you don't have any of the others actually installed on your system, removing youtube could break some emulators.
I've been playing fallout4 all day, I went into a elevator and it kept going, never stopped, waited 5 minutes, must of been a bug. How bout you, whatcha do today?
