I think it's a power problem. The Ez Flash demands to much power and the dmg can't handle it. I would recommend playing with a 6v power adaptor to see if you still have the same problem.- gb89

Old 3ds problem (won't turn on, no light at all, won't charge)
Have you tried with a new battery? The nintendo 3ds doesn't turn on when the battery is not ok.- gb89
