Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Here's what it looks like, I used 0.15 on what I assume is D. I'm going to try larger gauge on all and double up like you show, thanks for that tip, I even had it saved to look into. 1713105892 Man, unfortunately, same thing here, should I try an even thicker gauge? What I was saying about...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Did you check the guide? The recommended RP2040-Tiny from Waveshare doesn't require anything additional. The custom way, there was one recently, but also many others: https://gbatemp.net/threads/picofly-a-hwfly-switch-modchip.622701/page-750#post-10367725

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

With some further reading that's not at 4am, I do understand they're just so low the multimeter picks it up as continuity, but it's not, so thanks for that. It must be something else then. Could it be that the wire I used that goes to the caps is too thin? I could try a thicker gauge? The...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Man, I'm really confused, I've done a bunch of rear mosfet installs without a problem. Today I wanted to try the full front install without having to remove the motherboard, so I basically did this: At first I was getting the ==* error, so I thought it might be the mosfet, so I desoldered it...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Wasn't like this from the customer, it happened when I went to close it. I've never had a latch pop off ever in my 15+ years of handling electronics, but putting it back clearly damaged it if it's caused by the datalines not being connected. I'll order a replacement connector - thanks.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Had an unfortunate switch V2 whose LCD clip popped off, but unfortunately, even though I somehow managed to pop it back in with a tremendous amount of work, the LCD is showing these bands, I'm guessing I'll have to get a new connector to replace it? The flex cable didn't seem damaged at all. Or...

The different 3v3 mentioned above for one. And on the OLED are there any others for RST than behind the board?

Is there a source to see alternate soldering points?

Looks great honestly, well done! How many did you need to order? and what did the per unit cost end up being?

I poked around with the multimeter, here are the points on V1/V2: Confirmed working as well, I just finished installing the picofly in a V1. Or my shitty drawing of it next to the original back mosfet location from Abal.

Been browsing the last 200 pages to try and find these references lol! Thanks for this image - I'm also trying to find the same kind of point on the V1/V2, to save the images for reference. Do you happen to have one for those as well?

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

I'm back to do a friend's Switch Lite, but I'm having trouble seeing where people place the chip exactly, looks like there's less space than the OLED I did for myself. Anyone got a picture of the RP placement?

Migrating/Copying 12gb paritioned emuMMC to 58gb paritioned emuMMC

I already restored it to the larger partition, I just needed it to take up the full size of the partition. I couldn't manage to do it with nxnandmanager, so I just wiped it and put a fresh emuNAND and am currently transferring everything over, too bad :/

I see, it'll take a look at nxnandmanager and its resize function! Thanks.

Migrating/Copying 12gb paritioned emuMMC to 58gb paritioned emuMMC

Hello! I had started using emuMMC partitioned through Hekate on a 32GB SD, which is all I had at the time. It's an OLED, so the full eMMC is 58GB, as such, the only option it gave me was a 12GB partition, so I started with that. I finally got a 256GB SD, and I want to migrate to it. I've...
