    Unlike other (more modern) flash carts, the theme is built into the firmware. Check out the EZ-Flash skins forum for reference. There's some themes / firmware available somewhere on this site too, so you'll want to make use of the search function to find it. I'm off to eat supper. :D

    That is probably best practice, but I don't think it is necessary. Should be okay, but I've never experienced issues flashing firmware myself. Leave the firmware alone if the loader graphics are acceptable to you. I hated the Darth Vader theme.

    Finally, these are the fun add-on items you can get from Rose Colored Gaming. The defacers seem to be created from a 3-D printer and are excellent quality - They work perfectly! The 'Micro Shifties' sleeves are just hilarious and we love them. Observe my Micro being consumed by one!
