    The error I always get is: I tried so many different variations for the paths. With slash, with backslash, with "/c/", with "C:\\", copying the files in different directories, copying everything in the same one and use the file names directly instead of paths.

    I do not think that's quite right. If the ruling of the Supreme Court would be general law, Nintendo's costumer-contracts could no longer forbid users to (for example) modify their console. However, their contracts would still say something like: "You are allowed to use Nintendo's servers"...
