    What if I get the cartridge for only the gen 5 game and the flashcart? If that doesn't work my only option would be picking between buying the DS + one game from each gen or just pksm...

    Doing it through PKHeX or pksm is my last resort. If I buy a DS Lite can I do it? (Downloading the roms or something, idk how the homebrew for it works) Like just get the DS, get the cfw and download the games, and then transfer?
