Me too! That was another cause for concern over even attempting to replace the firmware. I was expecting a picoboot firmware but when I installed it and booted up for the first time it was (and still is) spacecraft.- cstout

Speculation, really. Is there any way to know the legitimacy of the chip itself? Sorry, I should have mentioned why I was asking in the first place. I read some posts of clones that were marked like that and they wouldn’t work with other hwfly firmware. Have you heard any such reports?- cstout
