    It's all GND (Cartridge cage& its 4 legs), but of course soldering on the pins is cleaner.

    The broken component has 3 pins/points that's y i guessed it's a transistor.. Which 2 points do u suggest jumping?

    It seems one ribbon lever was damaged, had to press on it by hand and power on, but then I got: I looked around more & found one SMD component broken: (transistor?) I guess it got broken when I was prying open the bottom case.. Oh well.. I killed it.

    I soldered all 4 wires (gnd included) to both mobo & sd card adapter. Booting normally without reader fails, it flashes blue & instantly turns off device. Checked continuity on my wires & 100% nothing is shorted. My solider isn't great but is just good. I'll try to desolider & boot the...

    Having all points on the same side really helps keep things clean, could u share ur GND point? It seems many ground points r no good.
