Ah sweet! I'd assumed that if you set the time forward, and wanted to go back to the real time, you had to wait until the latest date you set before being able to use the amiibo again (I think this was a mechanic in the Animal Crossing game for the DS, which was the last time I had a time-based...

Apparently, the French release works fine on carts that have firmware fixes for the Japanese release's AP, so I'm assuming the same would be the case with the US releases as well... but then that means that groups are either not releasing it just to screw with us or that they actually don't have...
i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.
