    Are you up to date with cfw, patches, etc? If yes, maybe you could try something similar to what I did regarding FE3H. Remember, it's probably an specific case like mine, and my findings may not work for yours, but you can try! Uninstall your game and delete savefiles (through your system)...

    I used tinfoil and goldleaf to remove them. Sometimes they appeared on one but not on the other, but GL seems to be better on this case. It's strange.. XD

    tried NeutOS by itself once again, just to be sure, and the game doesn't even start :( If I install with Goldleaf it gives me that "unable to play software" from the start. If I install with tinfoil, it checks for unplayable downloadable content before giving the same message... By the way...

    Hey! Just so you know, I figured it out! try running pplay through homebrew menu not in applet mode (hold R while starting a game through the Switch's home menu untill the hb menu opens) and pplay won't freeze anymore because of the subtitles.
