The Game Awards 2020 - live coverage - Sephiroth joins Smash, new Perfect Dark
It's that time of year again, where game companies will reveal to us snippets of information about upcoming games while we appreciate the games that have released throughout this past year. There are plenty of of different categories to see awarded, from Best eSports Host, to the illustrious Game of the Year. GBAtemp will be covering the event, from start to finish, so you can easily check out all the major announcements without having to tune in. However, if you are interested in the show, you can tune in and watch alongside us on our official Twitch channel, as we stream the show and talk about the games that came out this year, while reporting on the event.

The first award goes to Final Fantasy VII Remake, which won Best Soundtrack/Score.
Loop Hero announced by Devolver Digital. It's a pixel game where you fight in dungeons with cards. 2021.
This next game sees you explore oceans, mountains, and more on a topical island. You can follow animals and manipulate certain objects. Tchia is the name.
Best Action Adventure goes to The Last of Us Part II.
Developer Jo-Mei, along with Quantic Dream as the publisher, are working on Sea of Solitude Director's Cut for an exclusive release on the Nintendo Switch.
Shady Part of Me is now available. It's a puzzle game where you use your shadow to solve puzzles.
