Hey...
My Vita (3.60) told me, it has downloaded the new System-Software 3.67 and asked me to install it.. I pressed "no" ... but the Updatefile was just downloaded.. I turned Airplane-mode on and charged the vita.

Now Im extremely scared it will update after I restart the system /format my sdcard or something...
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me to find and delete the downloaded update-file before something terrible happens... I love My 3.60 vita .. I dont want to lose it... (the notification disappeared.. so there is no "delete button" to find ..)

I need to make absolutely sure that it won't force the update...

Just cancel the update from the Notifications options.
To prevent it to download again, in Settings disable the "Download Update File for System Software" in Auto-Start Settings.

How did the update download? I'm assuming OP is using henkaku enso and i thought henkaku enso blocked firmware updates from downloading.

Yep but just henkaku (No enso) ... the vita just auto-downloaded it in standby mode, because I forgot to uncheck the "autodownload box" :(

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Just doing the above will work.

But if you're paranoid, the file is apparently stored in ud0:PSP2UPDATE and in ux0:bgdl/t.

Thanks! But there are just 2 Fies in psp2update : updatemode_result.dat 4b and updater.log 0b - both files from 07.31.2017
Bgdl/t. Is empty
(Should i completely delete those folders?)

Just cancel the update from the Notifications options.

I read sth like this before.. people said, there is a "delete option" in the notification.. but the notifiation just disappeared after I pressed "not install" .. so I think it just stopped the Installation but the file should still be there.. or am I wrong?

I get this update all the time for years now as my vita still is with HENkaku (waiting for my SD2Vita and a good micro SD before I update to Enso).
I just delete the notification, turn the internet off and it will not bug me as long as i'm offline.
I think it will be fine updating to Enso.

No need to be Paranoid I think.

Thank you! Im a little more relaxed now.. do you think I should clear the psp2update folder just to be sure? Or does henkaku need the files for some reason?

Why do you wait with enso-installation? I got a sd2vita too here, but no big sdcard. (Wanted to try it next year) Will it change something if I install enso now and even want to use sd2vita someday ?
