I dont like spoilers but honestly gaming doesn't matter. I have beat hundreds of games,played wow for years. If your life sucks gaming is nothing more than an escape and those little things stop bothering you as much as you get older.

There are doubtless things which serve no great purpose to spoil in such a manner. Levels of a mario game in all I have ever seen and expect to see here to do not fall into that for me or anybody I would have said I have interacted with before today.

The fun of Mario is typically in the doing, knowing what the doing will be does not detract from that in any real way I can see. There are plenty of games, across all gameplay styles including Mario style (some of the spyro stuff, maybe also a bunch of Rare's efforts), for which revealing final levels might be troublesome but again it is Mario so not likely here, and I imagine Nintendo would have been talking up a storm had they retooled it in such a way that it would matter (if only to say we still have a no story mode for those which want it).

Anyway I am curious now. I recall the threads discussion the Mario autoplay options later games in the franchise got. I shall have to match names here to those discussions and see what got said as I imagine there might be some logical dissonance here.

It's a Mario game, not like it's metal gear or something

The difference is you can play a metal gear game 10 times through, watch all the spioler vids multiple time and still have no idea what the hell is going on.
Mario game plot reveal: princess peach was kidnapped by bowser, or by another evil fellow who isnt bowser and mario has to recuse her. The same for loz, just replace mario with link, peach with zelda, and bowser with gannon.

...seriously, getting annoyed because a Mario game has leaked gameplay footage means zero to nothing, Mario games are to be experienced and played first hand, that's not something you can spoil by videos.
It's not like there is some Metal Gear Solid 4 content in terms of story.

I can, however when said same post it as a good way to experience the world (I can see the idea of spoilers existing, certainly I have had things spoiled in the past, but can not see how it might apply to this game and indeed game franchise) I have to question it and now apparently we have this thread.

Fair enough, seems like a silly thing for this sort of game but try to do life how you will.

I've been debating looking into the leaks. While I really want to see them, I also don't want to spoil the game so much to where there isn't some sort of major surprise (worlds/bosses) during my playthrough.
