Even If i swap all the items with full Dominions Rods, the thing doesnt activate, its like the animation doesn´t load :angry::angry: I´m trying every combination possible, I got to work once, but I didn´t know wtf did I do. lol, so i´m still stuck, any suggestions?

I would say, you just softlocked your game.

And there is no way to unlock that? not even keep trying with the differents combinations of IDs?

I don´t want to lose 20+ hours of gameplay :cry: So there´s no other choice?
I don't know. I had this with my Hyrule Warriors save too. I did something wrong and lost 100+ hours of gameplay.
Never would do all this sht again.
Since then, I always use cheats carefully.

Get a item that triggers a cutscene or anything progres related, you will probably skip something but you can look it up on youtube or whatever.

Does anyone know how to make a cycle code? I am trying to make a powerup cycle code for Super Mario 3D World, but I am having trouble making it work properly.

This is the current code that I came up with from JGecko and my understanding of the documentation:

This code is supposed to allow Player 1 use the Wii U Gamepad's Left and Right D-Pad button to toggle between powerups but as stated ealier, it does not work at all.
which version is this for?
im ntsc n it doesn't work for me either...

is there an address to poke for power ups?

You are using the gamepad, right? Sorry, I forgot to say that.

If it still does not work, then try this one:
Power-up Modifier (Player 1) [CuriousTommy]
00220000 108BEE14
10000000 40000000
000000AC 00000000
10000000 40000000
00002880 00000007
00220000 108BEE14
10000000 40000000
000000AC 00000000
10000000 40000000
00002884 00000007
00220000 108BEE14
10000000 40000000
00000100 00000000
10000000 40000000
00000010 00000007

Once activated, you will be forced to be in a Lucky Bell Powerup.

yeah im begining to think maybe its my version of jgeckou ... its the latest version and sendcodes doesn't seem to do anything
So far I can't figure out what is wrong with my code, I make a copy of my save and the same cheat code works there fine.

So when you add the address to JGecko the value does not stay static?

i have to go to memory viewer to make any real changes, putting in 378D6B9C 00000007 in Add Codes and then sending it, doesn't do anything, looking at 378D6B9C in memory viewer afterwards i dont see any change :/ am i doing it wrong or is it just borked?

whats the address for current powerup?

whats the address for current powerup?

So there are three values that you have to worry about:
One of them being the costume and the other two being the effect.

Effect:
[[108BEE14] + AC] + 2880
[[108BEE14] + AC] + 2884

Costume:
[[108BEE14] + 100] + 10

These are pointer codes, so you need to use the [Follow Pointer] button to get to the actual value
Value = 0000000X
Replace X with any value below:
0 = Normal
1 = Mini
2 = Fire Flower
3 = Super Bell (Cat)
4 = Super Leaf (Tanooki)
5 = Boomerang Flower
6 = Invincibility Leaf
7 = Lucky Bell (Cat & Golden Statue)

i have to go to memory viewer to make any real changes, putting in 378D6B9C 00000007 in Add Codes and then sending it, doesn't do anything, looking at 378D6B9C in memory viewer afterwards i dont see any change
Did you use the Code Wizard?

The code should come out like this:
00020000 378D6B9C
00000007 00000000

not sure what it is, those addresses should work, but..... seems like sendcodes doesn't for me. writing at those addresses is fine tho

shame i can't spawn doublecherries or mega mushrooms or any of the hats, those would be fun power ups

Yeah, I have been curious about that too. I have not had luck with the hats so far... I might look into double cherries and the mega mushrooms in the future.

At least the pointers I got work on your Wii U! I am not sure about the send code problem. The only thing that pops in my head is that you are not using CosmoCortney's Codehandler or the Homebrew app. Do you get a confirmation that the code has been sent successfully?

Buddy & Me - Dream Edition [EUR - 00050000101F4A00] [WYMP9P] (Loadiine PyGecko)

The game uses variable memory addresses to store values but they are located in a quite small range.

"Number of collected stars during in-game" (32bit): it is in the range of 0x195XXXXX and 0x19FXXXXX;
the game has some controls on collected stars so modify the value JUST BEFORE THE TIME REACHES ZERO otherwise, if some controls happen, the game will crash !
The value (32bit) just before "Number of collected stars during in-game" is the number of stars needed to make Buddy appears (decremental value)
The value (32bit) just before "Number of collected stars during in-game" is the number of collected bunnies.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games [EUR - 00050000101E5400] [ABJP01] (Loadiine PyGecko)

Number of Rings: 0x306244E2 (16bit)
Number of Coins: 0x306244E4 (16bit)

I got it... my item hack code in MK8. Not as good as @BullyWiiPlaza but it does works online.
A video of it here!
@BullyWiiPlaza
How did you get your video to display nicely on youtube? Mine looks awful on YouTube, but looks nice on local?
What software, Codec, and bitrate did you use?
I think I might have messed up somewhere, I went way over the YouTube 1080P bitrate requirement, so perhaps that's the issue?
I also used Premier Pro, but that darn thing keeps desynching the audio about 1 and a half minute in with H.264 compression.
Edit:
I forgot to mention that I captured the video uncompressed.

Uhm, your video looks fine? I'm using Elgato Game Capture HD60 to capture and Sony Vegas Pro to edit.

Render settings:
Code:
Audio: 192 Kbps, 48,000 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo, AAC
Video: 60 fps, 1920x1080 Progressive, YUV, 16 Mbps
Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.000
