I can't understand them. One made Chrome randomly keep asking if I wanted to download "Youtube.crx". Why do people make such idiotic things? Do they want to take over the world? Do they work for Anonymous? I didn't think so.
80 deg Celcius plus for a CPU? REALLY?
So I returned my stupid non-bombastic ATi GPU for a Galaxy Geforce GT 430 (number coincides with case number), and ordered a case fan + a CPU cooler.

As you may already know, I've ordered the parts for my new Core i5 3rd gen powered PC. Most of them arrived at my house (except the PSU, lol). So I decided to, you know, put the PC together without the PSU.
It took less than 45 minutes (!) to do the whole thing.
So on Friday I will purchase the parts for a semi-gaming PC. My components list will be:
Intel Core i5-3570K processor
Sony BD/DVD/CD writer
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATA II Internal hard drive
My iPod headphones, with a USB Sound card
Cooler Master Elite 430 ATX case
Cooler Master 600...
Tried 6 times, only won 10 points once, now I'm down by 5 points :(

It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem. -

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.

But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".

Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
