So, let's say that I have Switch A and Switch B.
Switch A is an unmodded Mariko. It contains an AC:NH save.
Switch B is a modded unpatched Erista, and it contains JKSV which can extract the file to a format readable by a save editor.
If I went through the complicated process of doing all of these steps:
- Using the official transfer tool to transfer save from Switch A to Switch B
- Copying the received save over from SysMMC to EmuMMC
- Extracting the EmuMMC save with JKSV
- Using the save editor
- Importing the save back to EmuMMC
- Copying it back to SysMMC
- Using the official tool to move it back to Switch A
...how likely am I to get banned on at least one of these units?
The edits won't involve any island/item hacking. I literally just want to change my island name, as I chose a terrible one and Nintendo never allowed changes like this.
