I currently have a 5TB External WD Elements formatted as NTFS attached to my PS3. I chose NTFS because it's fully supported by EvilNat. But I was thinking of dual-purposing this drive for PS4 use with APP2USB since I don't think I'll fill it up with PS3 games. But then I'd have to format it as EXFAT. But EXFAT support is limited in PS3's file managers. For example, IrisMan lets you copy but not move files, and ManaGuns lets you create folders & rename files, but not move files (automatic 'no space' error). And my Webman MOD doesn't even have PrepISO in Settings (It did on a HEN system), so EXFAT may be entirely a no-go. What's the best file manager for EXFAT? Is this even a good idea to share the drive? I hear APP2USB is buggy and can corrupt drives.

Honestly the PS3 SUCKS for using external hard drives with. I've never once gotten games working from an exFAT or NTFS drive even tho people say it works perfectly fine. So for that reason alone, I wouldn't even try messing with your PS3s setup and trying to run off of multiple partitions to use it on more than once console at a time.

If you even look at the PS3 XMB funny something disconnects and stops functioning, I swear.
