What SNES core should I use with retroarch?

Too many SNES cores for Retroarch (Snes9x 2010, 2005, 2002, Bsnes,…)
What core do you recommend?

Mainline snes9x or bsnes, if it runs well on whatever you're running it on.

bsnes is good runs better than snes9x on newer pc

why is snes only core that i dont get smooth scrolling unlike genesis or other cores?
i have new and good PC.

Use bsnes and if your computer is too slow to run it then switch to the most current Snes9X.
