You would think that The PS5 Slim being sold with the ODD attached would have already had it paired. I guess Sony wants to follow Microsoft and screw customers who don't have access to reliable internet. That was the ONE THING I liked about the PS3, PS4 and PS5 was not needing the internet to...
That's not going to stop it since you can easily download pirated FPKGs all willy nilly. There are plenty of hackable PS5's with a Disc drive so it still doesn't make sense.
The fact that the PS5 Slim needs the connect to PSN when you want to add a disc drive is not cool. It was nice that the PS3, PS4 and PS5 didn't need to connect to the internet to do the initial setup unlike the Xbox One and Xbox Series. But needing the Internet to add the Disc drive for the...
I know LightningMods is working on adding dumping PS4 DLC on the PS5 for Itemzflow 1.08 as 1.06 currently doesn't do that.
https://github.com/LightningMods/Itemzflow/issues/36
Hopefully Itemzflow will be able to decrypt PS4/PS5 content on the PS5 soon so we don't need extra steps in backing up...
We do not have FPKGs for PS5 games yet. The process of getting PS5 backups working is quite a bit more involved than PS4 game for now. There are games that do not work. Some because can't decrypt the eboot.bin. Some for other reasons.
Check out the following videos for more information.
While I have a PS5 on 4.51 I also have one 5.02.
I'm sure the PS5's above 4.51 and below 8.20 far outnumber the ones on 4.51 or lower. Also I like the idea of having a PS4 Slim that you can hack as it is likely more reliable than the Huge (Seto Kaiba edition) PS5s.
Plus we will get access to...
It's also possible that they may not be allowed to share anything yet. For all we know it's TheFloW who's Jose Coixao "friend" and isn't allowed to go into further details until a certain date.
Everything can be hacked, it's just a matter of difficulty.
Go back your PS5 and state the full system firmware. I am not familiar with version 4.05 and want to make sure that wasn't a typo.
On another note, are there any updates on decrypting PS4 content on the PS5on 4.51?
I listen to various background music from Crash Bandicoot Warped for PS1. My favorites are from Dingodile, N. Gin and N. Cortex battles. I also like to listen to the various music from Spyro the Dragon for PS1.
Oh no what have I started. LOL.
What do you guys think is worse: A 2006 Network bug being in a PS4/PS5 or Sony using a non-random seed value to encrypt the PS3's binaries so hackers could figure out Sony's Private Key?
Apparently somebody in Sony's programming team wasn't paying attention.
I wonder if this bug was always there from the start or was it introduced somewhere along the line. I do have a PS4 Pro on 3.7x. Could possible test when I find the system.
Only thing drive me crazy is all these new horror games nowadays is its so dark, all time. I can't even play them. I understand they trying to create spooky but be creative a little, not just darkness with pop out scare scenes.
