Presumably it will support newer versions at least, but until Nintendo adds support for a game that doesn't work with 1.4.6, it's unnecessary. All the games they've released since 1.4.6 work fine when added manually (aside from N64, of course).
The option to convert srm to NSO format for GBC is great. Can you add the reverse, NSO -> .srm? (.sram to .srm). It's present for the N64 but not for the gbc.
Hey Akuma, I just wanted to say thanks for all the hard work you have put into this. I can really see all the love.
I joined the Patreon yesterday evening, and i'm using version 1.5 of CaVE. I seem to be getting an error when I try and save the database (After adding a custom rom)
I am trying to save one rom into the N64 Database, Goemon's Great Adventure. It has a .dtz file it installs from online automatically. Then I try and save the database, I get "A Generic error occurred in GDI+" message (attached)
Any information would be greatly appreciated, I could not seem to figure out how to prevent this error when saving.
EDIT: I just joined the discord, searched and have seen you talk about the GDI+ error, and that it can be safely ignored. Sorry to bother anyone. Just a super green girl trying to figure this all out <3
I actually just got this one into the NSP today, it works great!
be weary asf of any games that required a memory card save in game. I can only save progress via save states. and I hear this happens on the clean systems as well.
Nintendo for some reason, did not think this was a necessary addition. LMAO.
The full unlock no longer works. I tried updating it to v3.7, because my SNES NSO app got updated to v3.8, but custom games don't work. I'm a little frustrated that the creator stopped updating the full unlock patch and hid it behind a paywall, as now we have to go to third party emulators instead of the official ones.

I'm probably just being stupid, but I saw that kirby tilt n tumble was a being added to the Gameboy nso as a stock game. So I went to cave management to add the stock game, but I don't see anyway to do that. I selected the most up to date database, but it's not there. Under the add game section the option to add stock games is grayed out.

Has anyone done a playthrough of Final Fantasy III (USA) or Final Fantasy V (RPGE) converted to Switch SFROMs? They both have the same audio issue on SNES Online 3.6 where the music randomly dips flat (out of tune) for a moment every min or two. It's quite subtle if your audio setup isn't loud enough (I've never heard it in handheld mode with built-in speakers).
I've tested some of the Advanced Properties in SFROMTool like Compatibility mode and dot clock speed, but nothing has made a difference. Also changing the game code from stock to 0 doesn't fix it.
Does anyone know where I can get the original lclassics.titlesdb file from my Switch or elsewhere? I would like the latest games like Golden Sun and Zelda Oracle of Season to show up in their respective NSO app and then simply delete the games I don't want.
Or if lclassics.titlesdb is only for the mod, what is the cleanest way for me to make these games released in later versions of the NSO apps appear? I would like them to be the original NSO app games, not roms.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Edit: so from what I gathered, the solution would be to enroll for the v1.5 beta .
