Legion Go for specs/repairability, Steam Deck for ease of use. A modded Switch Lite is the comfiest though, I find all other handhelds too large for my taste.
I miss compact smartphones. At least 5.0"-5.5" devices would be nice, all these 6.0+ look so similar that I have no idea how normal people actually choose between brands.
Completely agreed, but these companies are too big to care about what users actually want these days. Which is why I prefer to stick to open-source projects. In most cases someone else will be bothered/care about the same issues I do (worst case scenario, modifying it myself IS a possibility).
Looks a bit barebones, but seems to have a decent base to improve upon. Still seems a bit lackluster compared to Pirates, Uncharted Waters (and I doubt it'll have enough of a story to compare it with Skies of Arcadia).
Apparently, the original plan was to kill Bayek and have his wife be the player character mantle.
Remember kids, a Japanese-American born and raised in Detroit knows more about events hundreds of years in the past than professional historians and Japanese academics.
I'll buy one if I can use the Mig Switch or equivalent future clone Switch flashcarts with it. Otherwise I might get one and keep it sealed until CFW is a thing (and we all know that nuNintendo consoles get cracked sooner or later.
No one said the Mig Switch was "as powerful as CFW". Besides, under the same conditions, both would have been "banned".
While I agree that using shared dumps means that console will be get a ban eventually, I have yet to see any confirmation of it actually being the case, outside of...
Seen so many people blame the Mig Switch for their ban and yet when pressed for details they either disappear and/or they say enough for others to realize they simply fucked up in some other way...plenty of trolls and fearmongering too.
Oh no, big numbers=scary. No one seems to read articles beyond headlines these days. Nintendo simply had Github remove all forked repos of the original Yuzu branch (which everyone expected once the news came out). Meanwhile blatant Yuzu clones such as Suyu are still out in the open, even on...
There is no point to run both. A Steam Deck/Legion Go/etc can run everything a Switch does but IMHO they are too large and bulky. A Switch Lite is the closest to a properly-sized modern handheld. If anything, bulky handhelds are the problem child vs just getting a Switch Lite or a Laptop for...
What's really cool about Pi's tho is you can have multiple SD cards with different OS on each SD card and change from say a gaming machine to a full fledged pc if wanted
Again you get what you pay for, its like buying a S series for $300 but its only 1440p native, if you want true 4k, gotta get the X model for $500. But yea you right, when moms buying it anyways, you gotta stay cheap.
I here ya there, I have too many myself, and have hard time letting them go, since most of mine I've modded at some point. Anymore I just play Switch on the go, seriesx at home.
I'm designing my own entertainment cabinet for my man cave, to store all my systems, then I'm also designing a power supply/HDMI switcher so I can switch to whichever system I want, and power it also. Already picked up the cabinet board, but tinkering with my drawings before start
