Which is exactly why I trashed the thing and bought another USB programable one instead. $10 isn't worth my time trying to reverse engineer a cheap Chinese dongle.
I initially thought I could just wire a USB to some of the test pads but I guess it's not so simple. I didn't expect this thread to get so speculative and revived all these years later lol but good luck to anyone willing to figure it out I'm sure these hunks of ewaste are still floating around for sale out there.
